Join me on this journey.

My roots and my journey through Europe

Born in the beautiful city of Pisa, my love of literature blossomed at an early age.

I graduated from the Liceo Classico Galileo Galilei in Pisa and, after completing a degree in Literature at the University of Pisa, I had the opportunity to live and work in various European countries, including Italy, Spain and France. These international experiences have enriched my perspective, shaping my worldview and fuelling my insatiable curiosity – elements that have become cornerstones of my writing.

My love for studying ancient and modern languages has led me to speak, in addition to Italian, Spanish, French, Valencian, Russian, Latin, Ancient Greek and English. I love all animals, particularly horses, as they represent the mirror of the soul and freedom. I adore the stormy sea and the starry sky on winter nights, which deeply nourish my inspiration.

I have been living in Switzerland for sixteen years, where I have found my second home and my inspiration.

Lecturer and essayist: Between collaborations and academia

In Switzerland, my academic career took shape at the University of Geneva, where for eleven years I taught Italian and gave lectures on literature as part of the continuing education programme.

I am currently a teacher of Italian and Latin language and literature for the IB (International Baccalaureate) programme at the École Internationale de Genève. I also serve as the CILS (Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language) examiner for the University for Foreigners of Siena in Geneva.

As an essayist and writer, I am a member of the ASSI (Association of Writers of Italian-speaking Switzerland) and contribute regularly to the prestigious literary journals ‘Inchiostro’ (Italy) and ‘Opera Nuova’ (Switzerland).

The Soul of Writing: Style, Themes and Works

My writing is an introspective and profound journey that delves into the mysteries of life, death, dreams, mythology and the interconnection between the visible and the invisible.

Through a simple, intimate and descriptive style, I seek to explore the ethereal, immersing the reader not only in seeing, but above all in feeling.

In an age of superficiality, my writings offer a refuge for the soul, inviting repeated reading in which to discover ever-new insights and subtle formal connections.
